Hello fellow design lovers! Madeleine here. I am an Interior Design and Decoration student and my blog L.A. Living is dedicated to beautiful homes, designs, people and things that ooze 'Avalon'. I have grown up in Avalon and i feel that it's no longer just a small seaside town on the Northern Beaches, Avalon is now an adjective, a lifestyle, a look, a feel, a vibe, and a muse for creatives. Inspired by the coastle surroundings, relaxed beachside lifestyle, lush greenery, rustic boat sheds and 1950s beach shaks, 'Avalon' has become a signigture interior style. L.A. stands for 'Little Avalon' and is a renownd surf spot among locals. It's a special place that represents Avalon culture, pride and spirit. L.A captures 'the essence of Avalon'. When asked what my design style is, it's one heck of a mouthful; organic, rustic, a bit industrial, beachy, bo-hemian, vintage, ecclectic and a bit quirky. It's all finally clicked. My design style has derived from the place i call home, and it is quientassientially 'AVALON.' 

L.A.LIVING will showcase talented people, homes, places and things that are inspiring and down right cool, as well as some of my Interior Design work along the way.
